ALCBT at AEBF 2025: Accelerating Transition Towards Low-Carbon Buildings in ASEAN

The ALCBT project joined the ASEAN Energy Business Forum 2025 through its session “Accelerating Transition Towards Low-Carbon Buildings in ASEAN” on 17 October 2025. This session explores strategies and innovations driving the shift toward low-carbon, energy-efficient buildings across ASEAN. Experts highlight policy frameworks, financing mechanisms, and technological solutions that can accelerate decarbonisation in the buildings sector—one of the region’s fastest-growing sources of energy demand.

The project also officially launched the ASEAN BUILT (Building Investment for Low-Carbon Transition), a regional platform that connects investors and LCB projects and developers. Read more: ASEAN BUILT: Flagship Regional Platform to Accelerate Investment Mobilization for Sustainable Buildings
