The Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition (ALCBT) project is strengthening the capacity of building-sector professionals in Thailand to accelerate the transition toward low-carbon, energy-efficient buildings.
Through the Low Carbon Buildings (LCB) Training Programme, participants gain practical knowledge and skills on key areas of low-carbon building development, including energy efficiency, sustainable cooling, building energy performance, low-carbon design, and relevant tools and approaches. The training brings together professionals and stakeholders from across Thailand’s building sector, supporting the development of local capacity and encouraging the application of low-carbon solutions in practice.
The ALCBT Project is led by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), with support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) via the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The project works across Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Viet Nam to accelerate the transition toward low-carbon buildings in Asia.
