Building Sector Overview in Kerala, India

This report aims to give a synopsis of the energy scenario of the building sector in the state of Kerala and provides an overview of the existing building stock, the current construction practices, energy code implementation, and opportunities to improve the access of energy codes in building approval process. This document also aims to support the development of a comprehensive building registry database and identify cities for the implementation of low-carbon retrofit pilots.
